Try your camera and microphone before the call
Use the Beam device demo to check camera, microphone, and mobile framing before you book. It is a local preview, not a call: no room is created, nothing is recorded, and no other participant can join.
Camera and microphone access starts only after you choose the device-check button.
This demo never creates a room, consumes a join token, or connects you to another person.
How does the Beam device demo work?
Open the demo, approve camera and microphone access, and confirm that the preview looks and sounds ready. The control stays in your browser.
- Use the same browser and device you plan to use for the consultation.
- Choose the correct camera and microphone when more than one device is available.
- Check lighting, framing, and audio before the scheduled start.
What changes for a real session
A real booking adds a unique, signed Beam link to the private confirmation pass. That link opens the same pre-join check and then connects the booked client to the room.
If the device check does not work
If the browser blocks media, allow camera and microphone for the Beam site and retry. If a real link is expired or already used, the recovery page points to WhatsApp 501-672-3021.
