FAQ
Consulta FAQ
These are the shortest answers for clients, consultants, and operators using Consulta. Start here when you need to know how booking, payment, video, recovery, and provider readiness fit together.
Use the confirmation pass for Beam, calendar, reschedule, cancel, reminders, and recovery.
Payment, WOP, SMTP, calendar sync, and media claims stay marked as gated until evidence exists.
What is Consulta?
Consulta is the Silvatech consulting scheduler: a public directory and booking flow where clients choose a consultant, pick a free or paid session, get a confirmation pass, and join through Beam in the browser.
- The current MVP keeps Cristian Silva bookable while showing the platform path for more consultants.
- The product combines scheduling, payment proof, video handoff, policy actions, account recovery, and operator readiness.
- Beam is the reusable video component; Consulta consumes it without putting consulting-specific data into Beam.
Can I book a free session?
Yes, when a consultant enables a free intro. The free path skips checkout but still reserves a real slot and returns a confirmation pass with session details, calendar options, Beam access, and policy actions.
- Free booking is configured by consultant offer data, not hardcoded into the client flow.
- A free intro is best for fit checks and first discovery, not a promise of full implementation work.
- Disabling the free offer should not change paid-session money rules.
When do paid bookings confirm?
Paid bookings confirm only after server-side payment proof. A browser return page, WhatsApp message, or demo checkout screen is not payment proof by itself.
- Consulta holds a selected slot while checkout is pending.
- The booking moves from payment pending to confirmed only after the payment provider or simulator confirms payment server-side.
- Live Silvatech Payments credentials and webhook smoke proof remain launch gates before real paid bookings can be called complete.
Where do I get my video link?
Your video link lives on the tokenized confirmation pass. The pass is the durable page for the consultant, time, status, Beam client join path, calendar options, reschedule/cancel actions, and notification preferences.
- Email and WhatsApp confirmation content should point back to the same pass.
- Clients should join from the client Beam link, never from a consultant host link.
- Saving the pass is the easiest way to avoid the question: how do I get in?
What if my link is missing or expired?
Use Account or Sign in with the same email or WhatsApp used during booking. If a Beam token is expired or a link is missing, the friendly recovery path is WhatsApp support at 501-672-3021.
- Failed recovery attempts stay generic so booking records are not exposed.
- Access links are short-lived and should be requested again when expired.
- Recovery should reopen the booking pass, not expose raw payment refs or Beam tokens.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Use the confirmation pass to reschedule or cancel while the consultant policy allows it. Policy values are consultant data, so the page should show whether an action is allowed instead of relying on hidden support rules.
- Reschedule should issue updated time details and refreshed calendar options.
- Cancellation is blocked when the policy window has closed.
- Refund handling remains a payment/provider policy path, not an automatic result of clicking cancel.
Are WhatsApp and email notifications live?
Notification records and simulated delivery exist, but live WhatsApp/WOP and SMTP delivery stay credential-gated until real provider credentials, templates, and smoke proof are recorded.
- Transactional confirmations, reschedules, cancellations, reminders, and follow-ups are separate message types.
- Reminder and follow-up preferences can be managed from the booking pass.
- Notifications are helpful, but the confirmation pass remains the source of truth.
What services can I book?
You can book consulting paths such as automation discovery, WhatsApp/WOP workflows, booking and payment systems, software architecture review, operations dashboards, workshops previews, and reviewed retainers.
- Start with a free intro when the fit is unclear.
- Use a paid 30, 60, or 90 minute session when focused expert work is needed.
- Workshops, retainers, subscriptions, and group-seat checkout remain reviewed or gated until the required rails are proven.
How do consultants join?
Consultants use the Sign Up path to request review. Admins can create or publish consultant profiles, seed availability, configure offers, and keep provider readiness honest before a public listing is promoted.
- Self-serve instant publishing is a later version, not the current MVP.
- The consultant checklist explains the profile, offer, availability, policy, handoff, and provider-readiness standards.
- Active consultants should appear in the public directory with a profile, headline, rate-from, and next-available context.
What is not live yet?
The still-gated list includes live Silvatech Payments credentials and webhook proof, live WOP/SMTP sends, connected calendar sync, full password or OAuth accounts, group-seat checkout, recurring billing automation, regulated-care assumptions, and real-device Beam acceptance proof.
- Simulator-first payments remain the demo-safe default until real credentials exist.
- No card data is handled by Consulta.
- Acceptance stays unchecked until evidence is recorded in progress and acceptance docs.
